Popular controversial Christian Minister and Senior Pastor and founder of Power City International, Dr. Abel Damina has boldly admonished his congregation not to believe that children come from the supernatural.
In a video shared on his personal Facebook page, Pastor Damina gave instances to buttress his teaching that God does not give babies.
He said ‘’Damina said God does not give babies, yes I said so. I’m not disputing. Okay God gives babies, right? A young man that is on drugs suddenly picks a girl on the road and rapes her and she gets pregnant and produces a child that is blind, it came from who?
‘’And a woman in church faithfully paying tithes because they said you have to pay tithes 50 years in advance so she faithfully paid her tithes 50 years in advance, her and her husband have been paying tithe, fasting and praying for 15 years no baby and this violent boy on drugs grabbed a girl without her consent, raped her and she has twins, so God is like that? Is your village shrine that is like that not the God of our lord Jesus Christ.’’
Concerning the bible verse that talks about children being the heritage of the lord, Damina insisted that it entails how God has put in place the reproductive system for childbearing adding that if people do not engage in acts that biologically lead to childbearing, God will not interfere in the process.
‘’Somebody said but the bible said children are the heritage of the lord, how do you read? Children are the heritage of the lord means, God set the system of reproduction but you will determine whether you get pregnant or not by engaging in the needful.
‘’If babies come from God and a family did family planning and stopped so our family planning is stronger than God’’
