The All Progressives Congress (APC) state chairmen forum has called on Nigerians to have hope for a better tomorrow through the renewed hope policy projects being embarked upon by President Tinubu’s led administration.
The forum made the call in a press conference held at the Media Centre of the APC Headquarters in Abuja.
Speaking, the Chairman of APC in Cross River State and Secretary of the Forum, Alfonsus Ogar Eba said President Tinubu intends to provide a sustainable permanent economic prospect for the good of all Nigerians which is evident in the decisive steps he took on the assumption into office by taking away the wasteful burden of fuel subsidy and the wide disparity in forex market.
Admitting that protest is constitutional in Nigeria, Eba admonished the planned end bad government protesters to carry out their protest in line with the rule of law saying due to security reports, the protest may be counterproductive as they are sinister plans to hijack it.
He further said the forum is calling on Nigerians not to protest saying the protest will worsen the present economic situation of the country adding that the protest is more political than the economic concerns that were earlier expressed.
Eba alleged that the protest is sponsored by failed politicians aimed at toppling the government unconstitutionally saying the APC has worked tirelessly to earn the trust and support of Nigerians while calling on the opposition to wait and decide whether to change the government or not through the power of the ballot in the next presidential elections.
The APC state chairmen forum Appreciated Nigerians across party lines for their resilience and patience since the beginning of President Tinubu’s led administration and appealed to them to give the APC-led government more time believing that there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
